Danny Darden

Dan has spent the last six years as Skynet’s Manager of customer service and has recently also become the resident network engineer. He helps to ensure that the Internet traffic reaches you and that backup systems work properly. Dan has extensive experience in the wireless industry before joining Skynet, working with Alltel in the 2000’s. Prior to that his experience is in Internet and telecommunications in the central Texas area in the 1990’s.

Dan holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from LeTourneau University, a BS in Agriculture & Leadership Development from Texas A&M University, and an AS in Computer Science from Kilgore College. He has been active in the Association for Computing Machinery, and the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Since 2012 he has served on the Kilgore College Computer Science Advisory Board, advising the College on technology trends in the East Texas Area.

Dan stays current by researching emerging technologies and megatrends, and providing training for employees. Dan has won several research, quality and marketing awards and has been a featured guest speaker on nationally syndicated radio, and published articles on security, hacking and social engineering.
